Our Fall Ball registration has officially closed and our league is looking forward to getting the season started. Our board is currently working on player placement, making notification to our team managers, and getting practice days/times scheduled. Here is what you can expect:
· 8/20 – REGISTRATION PAPERWORK DROP OFF NIGHT 5PM – 7:30PM @ Chuck Reiter Field
o New players to VLL must provide all required documentation
o Any player that played 2024 Spring season does not need to provide information again, UNLESS the player has a new address or has changed schools in which we need a new school form completed or (3) proofs of residency
o Any player that wishes to be sized for their jersey (if players are not sized on this night, the league will order the size entered upon registration)
o If you are a returning player that does not have any information changes and you had provided all documentation last season, you DO NOT need to attend this night unless you wish to be sized for your jersey
· DOCUMENTATION REQURED:
o (3) Proof of residency or school form
o Copy of players birth certificate
o Completed Medical Release Form
o Parent Code of Conduct Form signed
o All forms may be located at Venicelittleleague.org under the info tab, League Forms
· Coaches will contact all families no later than 8/23 to inform parents/players what team they are on and practice day/time
o Download the GroupMe App – Coaches will communicate to the team using this platform to get information out during the season
· Practices will start the week of August 26th
· First games will be on September 7th – Last games on November 9th
