Tryout Schedule
Friday, January 12, 2024
➔ Minor league players [age 7-8] check in at 5pm.
◆ Warm ups immediately following check in on Field 2.
● Tryouts begin at 6pm on Field 1.
➔ Minor/Major league players [age 9-10] check in at 6pm.
◆ Warm ups immediately following check in on Field 2.
● Tryouts begin at 7pm on Field 1.
➔ Major League players [age 11-12] check in at 7pm.
◆ Warm ups immediately following check in on Field 2.
● Tryouts begin at 8pm on Field 1.

Saturday, January 13, 2024
➔ Minor league players [age 7-9] check in at 8am.
◆ Warm ups immediately following check in on Field 2.
● Tryouts begin at 9am on Field 1.
➔ Minor/Major league players [age 10-12] check in at 9:30 am.
◆ Warm ups immediately following check in on Field 2.
● Tryouts begin at 10:30 am on Field 1.
★ Due to the uncertainty of attendance, times may vary slightly.
PARENTS:
1. Please check in promptly at the times given for your players league age.
We are unable to squeeze you into a different time slot.
2. Your player will receive a sticker with their tryout number on it, please
ensure they have it on them before heading to Field 2 for warm-ups.
3. Once your player has checked in please have them head over to Field 2
for warm-ups. There will be a board member present to supervise.
4. MANAGERS and COACHES are the only ones allowed on the field. NO
parents are allowed on the field during the tryout. NO parents are
allowed near the bleachers where the players are waiting to tryout. A
board member will be there to supervise the players.
Tryout Breakdown
Part 1: Fielding
1. Player will take the field at shortstop. Player will field [3] ground balls
and throw those to an awaiting player at first base.
2. Player will then go to left field and receive [3] fly balls and throw to
second base [league age 7-9], will throw to first base [league age 10-12].
3. Player will then go to first base and catch the balls being thrown from the
following player at shortstop.
Part 2: Batting
1. Players will be given [4] attempts to hit from live pitching.
2. Following their 4th attempt, the player will run from home plate, round
first base, and touch second base. The player will be timed.
a. From second base they will return to the stands, gather their
belongings and will be dismissed to their parent(s).
Players will be drafted on Saturday after the end of tryouts. Players
will be notified within 48 hours of the draft of their team.
